Snow in Arizona?

A couple of times each winter in Sedona, we do get a little snow. We had an exceptionally heavy snow just a couple of days ago. A few white patches still linger under the bushes, but it's mostly melted now. Here are two photos, the first one looking out my front door:

And a sunset from later that day:

Snow in Arizona just seems so wrong. Of course, at this point I am sick of snow *anywhere*!

I remember how beautiful it is when it snows in Sedona. I lived there for 16 years in the village till 2006 when I moved to Colorado. Thanks for the beautiful photo you posted.

That is so pretty! We don't have mountains in MN, but we do have snow! I can hardly wait for it to be gone!

Beautiful! We didn't make it to our place in Sedona during snow this year...managed to be there when it was freezing but without the extra pretty of the snow!
